Dr. Davis, President & Founder of Pediatric Neurology PA is Board Certified in Neurology, Psychiatry, and Pediatrics.
As a Pediatric Neurologist, Dr. Davis has trained in the diagnosis and treatment of nervous system disorders, including diseases of the brain, spinal cord, nerves, and muscle.
He received his Medical Degree at East Carolina University and has served as a Fellow of Child Neurology at Children's Hospital in Boston. In addition, he has trained at Harvard University, where he served as Assistant Professor. He is also an Army Veteran, where he served with honor for 10 years.
Dr. Joseph Cimino of Pediatric Neurology PA is Board Certified in Neurology with special qualification in Child Neurology.
He received his medical degree from the University of California Medical Center in San Francisco. His postgraduate training in Neurology took place at the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. Dr. Cimino has served as a Fellow of Genetics and Metabolism at Duke University Medical Center, Durham, North Carolina and as a Fellow of Epilepsy at Bowman Gray School of Medicine.
As a nurse practitioner, member of the board for both the Epilepsy Association of Orlando and The Center for Conductive Education in Orlando, and Pediatric Neurology PA's Director of Clinical Services and Coordinator of Pediatric Drug Studies, Kay Taylor has an in depth understanding of the impact of neurological disorders on our patients and their families and a strong desire to help.
Her love of children and families began in Ohio where she worked in the Burn Research Unit at the Akron's Children's Hospital. Later, in Orlando she worked at the Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children as head nurse in the Pediatrics Unit and as the educational coordinator in Pediatrics for 10 years.
Jennifer Hermantin, Nurse Practitioner, knows that her enthusiasm for nursing, pediatrics & health began during her undergraduate years in college. During her clinical rotations, she had the opportunity to care for children.
Following the completion of her program, she worked as a registered nurse on the pediatric medical-surgical unit at Florida Hospital. Those early experiences have evolved into a rewarding career, anchored in the principle of dedication to patients and their families.
Jennifer is a graduate of the University of Florida with a Bachelors Degree in Health Science Education and a Masters Degree in Nursing. Her educational focus is on the health and wellness of families.
Leslie Pedreira has been a pediatric nurse practitioner since 2002. She joined Pediatric Neurology PA in 2014, after spending seven years in general pediatrics. Prior to this, she worked in Tampa as a pediatric nurse practitioner in pediatric neurology. She is double Board-certified by the National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners, and is a member of the Association of Child Neurology Nurses. She has special interest in epilepsy, migraines, and clinical research.Read more
Emmanuel Vega, Practice Administrator, joined Pediatric Neurology PA in 2014, with more than 8 years of management experience.
Emmanuel Vega, born and raised in Puerto Rico, attended the University of Puerto Rico, Rio Piedras Campus, where he received his Bachelor of Business Administration with a major in Statistics. He also attended the InterAmerican University, Metropolitan Campus, where he received his Masters of Business Administration with a major in Finance. Also, Emmanuel, attended the University of Puerto Rico, Medical Science Campus, where he received his Master of Health Services Administration.
Laly Montero, Office Manager, joined Pediatric Neurology PA in 2006, with forty years of medical experience.
Born and raised in New York City, she decided to relocate to Florida in 1989. Laly attended Brewster Tech School, where she received her Associates in Medical Administration. Also, she is a Notary Public.
Laly worked as a secretary for school council in Hillsborough County, as well as various medical specialty offices, such as geriatrics and neurology practices. As our office manager, Laly is extremely knowledgeable in multiple office functions, such as insurances, billing, medical records, and customer services.
Nancy Davis is the Chief Financial Officer and has worked for Pediatric Neurology since shortly after it opened in 2001.
As a Certified Public Accountant ("CPA"), she has overseen our fiscal health with efficiency and integrity for more than fourteen years.
A resident of Florida, Nancy grew up in Boston, Massachusetts, and attended Nichols College. She earned her Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, after which she immediately began her worldwide corporate travels.
